The staff and party host were great! The fact I literally didn't have to lift a finger and the kids had such a great time was fantastic. The booking and planning process was very organised and transparent. Reasonably priced and good quality food for the kids. Plus the venue as a whole and the party rooms are lovely, clean and fresh. If you want a hassle free party your kids will love, I highly recommend it.

How do I book a party?
Bookings are made online via our live booking calendar. It allows you to check availability of your preferred date, reserve your party and pay your deposit. There is a "Click to book now" button displayed at the bottom of each set of party package inclusions.

An automated confirmation email is sent immediately after you've made your booking (please check your spam/junk folder if it doesn't appear in your inbox), which contains all of the details you need to know for your party.
Is a deposit payable?
Yes. $100 is payable when you make your booking. This can be paid securely online via our booking system. This deposit is non-refundable if you cancel within 2 weeks of your party date.

What ages are best suited to a party at Tumbles?
We've found that children celebrating their 1st birthday, up to their 6th birthday, get the most out of a party at Tumbles. There's plenty to keep children of these ages entertained and busy, and the menus suit them perfectly.

The maximum age for the Birthday Child having a celebrating at Tumbles Playhouse is 10 years old. The venue is not suitable for teenage or adult birthday parties.

The play equipment is suitable for children from 9 months to 10 years of age (something to keep in mind when putting together your guest list).
When are my final numbers and menu selections confirmed?
For weekend parties, guest numbers, menu, adult platters, plus any add on items are finalised on the Weds/Thurs prior to your party. You have up until 3pm on the day prior to your party to adjust your guest numbers.

For weekday parties, we will contact you 2 days prior to confirm these details.
Do you charge for siblings and babies?
Any siblings of the children who are attending the party, but you don't wish to provide catering for, are admitted for a casual entry fee of $8.

Children under 12 months are not included in your final numbers and are free of charge. Please note that no catering is provided for these children.
Can I decorate?
You sure can! A reminder that only blu-tack can be used to hang items on the walls (no tape, or temporary hooks), and no glitter/confetti is to be brought into the venue. The room is available 15 minutes prior to the start of your party for decorating. Please be sure to leave any glitter or confetti at home.

If you have particular tableware that you would like to be used for your party, you're welcome to drop this off a few days beforehand so our team can set the room before you arrive.
Can I bring a birthday cake?
Absolutely! It's not a party without cake. Please just make sure it's nut-free.

You're also welcome to bring along any additional items for a dessert table. Cupcakes, donuts, etc. Please note that macarons contain nuts (almonds), and we cannot have them in the centre.
Are we able to bring our own food?
Sadly, no. To ensure we meet all food safety standards and to protect our guests with allergies, the only outside food permitted in the venue is birthday cake and dessert table sweets (please ensure they are nut-free).
What does a Party Host do?
Party Hosts assist with setting up decorations (if required) and clean up during/after the party, arrange food items, keep beverages stocked & coordinate the cutting of the birthday cake. They act as an extra set of hands to help the party run smoothly and stress-free for you, checking in with you throughout your party. Please remember they are not responsible for the supervision or care of the children attending the party while in the party room or play areas - that remains with yourself and the other parents/caregivers.
Are you able to cater for dietary requirements?
Within reason - yes. We can cater for vegetarians, as well as gluten and dairy allergies. Please let us know at the time of booking, or when confirming your final details, if you have any guests with dietary requirements.
